Welfare Services Club is a non-academic constituent clubs in NTU which provide an umbrella of voluntary activities and social work. We consists of 4 committees namely Regular Service Projects (RSPs), Special Projects, Supporting Committees and Volunteer Management (VM).
Ignite Change 2010 is a Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC) under the wing of NTU's Welfare Services Club, one of the four largest non-academic clubs in NTU. This FOC is special in the sense that besides having loads of fun and forging great friendships, you will also be introduced to the spirit of volunteerism!

Q: What is Ignite Change 2010 (IgC 2010) about? Ignite Change 2010 is a 5D4N freshmen orientation camp under the wing of NTU's Welfare Services Club (WSC), one of the four largest non-academic clubs in NTU. Targeted at not only freshmen, current NTU student are welcome to join as well! The camp runs from 28 July to 1 August.
Q: Why choose IgC 2010? IgC 2010 is not just a FOC, it is a FOC with a twist! At IgC 2010,
you not only get to enjoy games and activities other FOCs enjoy,
you get to learn more about volunteerism and opportunities to volunteer, whether inside or outside NTU, locally or abroad. What is more, you get to interact with seniors who will be going through all the dirt and fun with you as teammates, not just as seniors attached! Grab this chance to learn more about school and assimilate better into uni life!
Q: I am a NTU senior. Why would I want to join a FOC?! Ever regretted not joining foc, or wished to relive those tiring but well bonded days? Well, here is the chance for all seniors to re-experience camp! Ignite Change 2010 is open not only to freshmen, but current NTU undergraduates as well, so do take this chance to interact! Q: Will I just attend boring talks about volunteerism...? Of course not! The main aim of this camp is to welcome YOU, the participant, into NTU! There may be a couple of introductory talks, but which camp does not have those? Furthermore, our talks are NOT sleep-inducing, but tailored to capture YOUR interest; just join us to find out! Do expect days of fun-filled activities and even hands-on sessions where you get to interact and play games with our beneficiaries.
Q: How do I apply/pay? Simply fill up the application form and email it back to us @ ignitechange2010@gmail.com by 9th July 2010 and we will advise you on the payment methods. A confirmation email/sms will be sent to you by ignitechange2010@gmail.com within 3 working days upon receipt of your payment.
Q: What if too many people applies? In the event of overwhelming response, applicants will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis, and unsuccessful applicants will be refunded their initial payment of $60 accordingly. What are you waiting for? Secure you spot by signing up early, now!
Q: I have secured a spot, but cannot make it for the camp...can I get my money back? Refunds could be made subject to IgC 2010 discretion.
